Incredible communicator!

Jessica is such a gifted writer and communicator. In our church, I have personally witnessed her gift reach people in special ways, including myself! If you're looking for someone to "teach" or "instruct" you in how to overcome your struggles with depression or anxiety, this is not the podcast for you. If you're looking for someone who meets you where you are, who joins you at your lowest point and takes your hand and says "Hey, that thing you're struggling with? I've been there. Let's get through this together." This is for you. Thank you Jessica for using your God-given gift to fight the battle alongside others.

So great. Like having coffee with a friend who gets it.

Such a great series of podcasts. I have not been diagnosed with any mental illness, but I have absolutely gone through ebbs & flows of high & lows. It was great to sit & listen & feel like someone actually understood those really bad seasons of life & wasn't judging but providing solid encouragement. I have friends with mental illnesses & it is great to be able to hear from someone who deals with it, how I can be there for my friends with out being fake, or condescending, or unhelpful. Episode 3 is absolutely amazing--- I felt like I was sitting & having coffee with Jessica & she was telling me "you're not alone". So great. 100% this should be on everyone's subscriber list.

I love Jessica's poetic yet personal style of communiating. She puts the listener at ease by asking tough questions we all ask at one time or another and she hashes out answers that point you to scripture. Jessica has created a safe place to talk about mental illness but in a way that points you to the only one who has ALL the answers, our loving God who created us.
