Great gaming podcast

The dukes of dice is my favorite gaming podcast to listen to. In addition to always being exciting to listen to, Sean and Alex (the dukes) have fairly different tastes in games that cover the spectrum - meaning you are always getting two different viewpoints as part of every critique and review.

Lastly - they have a great show format that allows for them to both do their own thing, but give the listeners a strong idea of what to expect with every episode (news, what they have played lately, a full review, a discussion segment and some looks back at how previous reviews have stood up).

I highly recommend if you are into games to check out this podcast!

Dukes of Dice makes you a better human

Sean and Alex are fantastic. They have a great back and forth together without ever dragging the cast into grocery list droning or getting ridiculously off a topic as other shows are wont to do. In addition, they have a great variety of weekly segments and topics. They also pay close attention to their fans on the boardgamegeek guild by drawing material and opinions in making everyone more engaged and excited. Also they spend considerable time doing other interviews, and they have started a video channel going strong on YouTube. Keep in mind, this is in addition to creating a WEEKLY podcast CONSISTENTLY. Tons of other casts are missing episodes randomly or not always on schedule - these are ones that are usually bi-weekly at most. There are only two other weekly board game podcasts that I know with around the same show length. One does not have the same quality production values and both use a lot of content from other contributors. Seriously, if you're not listening to these guys you're cheating yourself. I don't always agree with their opinions, but I can always appreciate quality and pride in your product. At the Dukes of Dice, there is room for all.

Haven’t missed a step

Going bi-weekly has just allowed the Dukes to refine an already awesome formula for their ‘cast. Sean & Alex work so well together, and their differing views compliment each other so well. One of my ‘top priority’ podcasts for board gaming news, reviews & discussion!
