Description

The Podcasters of the Dragon Wagon Radio podcast network venture into a mythical land in this DnD inspired actual-play homebrew RPG podcast that's heavy on the RP. Jake Lloyd, Alexandra Hoey and Matt Hingstman are joined by actor, improv and comic special guests, and must take on the roles of Half-Orcs, Dark Elves and more as they fight their way through a mythical land of peril, drama and hilarity all controlled by Dungeon Master Paul Bianchi and the chance rolls of dice.

I'm hooked

I heard Jake talk about this on Wrestling Compadres and I checked it out and by the end of chapter 1 I was hooked. I thought it would be hard to listen to but its well produced and the players are funny and good at keeping you engaged. Now I'm all caught up and can't wait for the next chapter. It makes me want to try D&D!

Wonderful!

I came over from Mythunderstood, and I LOVE this podcast!! All of the characters are funny, the story and world are engaging, I love the concept of bringing in new characters all the time, what isn’t to love?? My favorite part is the fact that there is actual singing, because the cast isn’t afraid to be ridiculous. I’ve never seen that anywhere else, and it really helps breath even more life to the story! I’ve listened to a lot of D&D podcasts, but this one beats them all! Keep doing you, friends!!

Absurdly entertaining journey

I came over from listening to Paul’s other podcast Mythunderstood and I have to say this podcast quickly became my favorite of all the dungeons and dragons inspired podcasts I listen too. Just like his Mythunderstood podcast Paul’s story telling is one of lightheartedness fun yet still detailed enough to keep you in the story. Although it’s not a true dnd experience (as they themselves are quick to point out) it brings a sort of refreshing taking on the classic game and really has you laughing at some of the most ridiculous things that these characters get themselves into. The chemistry these friends share and their ability to really get into character has me dying especially with the recurring misunderstanding of what torture dungeons really are ever since the brothel episode. I can’t wait to see how the story continues as I am only on the chapter 5 round table and look forward to many more chapters.
