Mystery. Manipulation. Murder. Cults are associated with all of these. But what really goes on inside a cult? More specifically, what goes on inside the minds of people who join cults and leaders who start them? Every Tuesday, Greg and Vanessa (co-hosts of the podcast Serial Killers) explore the history and psychology behind the most notorious cults. Cults is part of the Parcast Network and is a Cutler Media production.

Customer Reviews

I'm bummed, because I'm really interested in the subject matter from a historical and analytical perspective, but this show is all sensationalism and speculation delivered by bland, cable voice-over sounding hosts. The two-parter on the Manson murders might as well just be Helter Skelter as an audiobook. They also don't mind swaying from factual reality in order to achieve their sensationalist bent- they mention in the second part someone "surviving" being given an "almost lethal dose of LSD", when scientifically there is no such thing. If you like getting your information in "Refer Madness" format, this is the podcast for you! As for myself- unsubscribed.

It's Not Good

I'm not quite sure why this podcast has so many 5 star reviews. The hosts are painful to listen to and I don't feel as though they explore all the relevant dimensions of the topic at hand.

Hosts :-/

I just can't listen to these hosts read and feign interest in the subject. Even their banter is scripted and it is just so distracting. Same with their other podcast. Could've been great...
