Great Dr Who podcast

This podcast takes my favorite part of Earth Station One's podcast and brings it to Dr Who. Excellent discussion of each Doctor's first and last episodes are a strong start to what I know we be an informative and thoughtful podcast.

This is a great podcast from the Earth Station One Network. Hosts Mike Faber, Phantom Troublemaker, Mike Gordon and Jennifer Hartshorn are a great team. I love the recent transition to doing a Doctor Who rants/raves/news section at the beginning of the podcast.

Recorded once a week while the show is airing, I love hearing everyone's opinions on the new Who episodes and creative choices. My only complaint during the time when the TV show is not running is that we only get Earth Station Who every two weeks instead of every week.

There are many great episodes reviewing both new and classic series episodes of Doctor Who - many of which I listen to both before AND after watched said episodes. There are also many great episodes following different aspects of the show - one of my favorites is the episodes examining the best episodes to show to a Doctor Who newbie. Their first series of episodes which looked at the first and then last appearance of each Doctor was also stellar.

Also a great section "Phantom's Corner" on Doctor Who merchandise.

My rating? Earth Station Who gets 5 out of 5 TARDISes.

Doctor Who

I've really enjoyed listening to the EOS crew's weekly reviews of the current season of Doctor Who. I find the discussion knowledgeable, thought provoking and always entertaining. I'm looking foreword to listening to some reviews of Classic Who.
