Phish out of water

Funny show, but Phish is terrible. Listen to Ween instead.

Loved it...

Immensely entertaining (not a shock). Thanks for the extra content Mr. Aukerman.

Hardcore Game of Thrones!

I'm a big fan of Dan Carlin's Hardcore History podcast, and Alex Berg does an impeccible imitation for Hardcore Game of Thrones. If the podcast were just a voice imitation, that would be amusing but completely forgettable. What makes this podcast so incredible is that Mr. Berg delves into the details of Westerosi history and characters with such affection and insight that it really feels like I am listening to an actual Hardcore History series. Westeros comes to life in Mr. Berg's theater-of-the-mind storytelling style, and the long-dead characters referenced on the page feel real, with authentic passions, motivations and faults. The podcast tightly sews all the details strewn across 5,000 pages into a coherent, very relatable story that feels grounded in the human experience. Suddenly the various battles have context on the map of Westeros and the overall strategy of the various factions. This podcast is an absolute must for any existing fans of Hardcore History or Game of Thrones. It will help you appreciate the rich details of the books that much more.
