Super excited about this podcast!

Joshua has been a real inspiration to our family; through his work at Radical Personal Finance, we were motivated to change our course and direction completely. We look forward to what new catalysts he may send our way.

A Remarkable Conversation

I’m not a Christian, but I’ve subscribed to this show after listening to the first two episodes. That’s got to tell you something.

This is a conversation between a father and his son about the lessons learned over 50 years of parenting. The discussion reflects a positive father-son dynamic, one to which most fathers and sons aspire.

We, as listeners, are taught by both the father and son. And it’s by looking at both sides of the mirror that we see in it ourselves as child and parent at the same time.

The advice transcends the bounds of religion and extends to universal messages of ethics, thoughtfulness, and passing along good values to the next generation. Beyond that, it speaks to the need for fathers - the parent that historically takes a role behind the mother when it comes to raising a child - tor recognize the importance of their roles in a child’s life.

Joshua is a seasoned podcaster, and David is a storyteller who drives home a point with style and ease. Together they are entertaining, enlightening, and just plain wonderful.

I’ve found my Sunday morning devotional

As a Christian, I frequently look for ways to inject faith-based principles into my everyday activities. After listening to the first 3 episode of Encouraging Christian Fathers I can say that I’ve found the devotional to listen to while on the way to serving at my church (and on the way back). Thank you Joshua! BTW: David says about 2-3 very impactful things every show. Thank you David for spending 50 years of your life preparing for this podcast.
