Help Me Be Me is an emotional toolkit for creating positive change in yourself. I like to think of it as self-help for people who hate self-help. I'm Sarah May, author/podcaster/all-around happy person, and these are the tools that work for me in my life. I think they'll work for you, too. For all the tools I offer, check out What I share is my personal opinion and not a diagnosis for treatment. I am not a licensed therapist and this podcast is not a substitute for professional help. If you're suffering, please reach out to your local emergency services or call 9-1-1. Music theme created by Previous intro music by

Loved it!

These Help Me Be Me podcasts stay with me and improve at least my outlook on how to view myself. It has easy going common sense reinforcements that are direct and effective.

I LOVE this series!! Sarah is so natural and relatable, it feels like you're just chillin' with a buddy and chatting about life. Not only that, she'll have you rooting for yourself by the end of every podcast. There are always laughs and moments when she really hits home, you'll find yourself running through a gambit of emotions. What makes it so great is you can tell Sarah is speaking from experience and that she simply took the time to figure all of these issues out, which I believe gives it that natural feel. I can honestly say I've grown as a person since taking on this series, I laugh more while taking less BS and I swear life seems to be magically aligning recently. But don't take my word for it, pick an issue and see for yourself. ;)

The Girlfriend.

Listening to Sarah is like having a conversation with your "let’s do something about this I got your back” type of girlfriend. The girl that will just lay it all out and help you understand what’s going on, but also give you solutions you can relate to. She’s not going to lie to you, but she’s not going to make you feel alone. I really resonate with the topics covered. It’s the little crap that you think about in your 20s and 30s. They mess with you, but you don’t really do anything about it because it’s not that bad. Those little things add up. That’s why I’m stoked about this podcast! I love my weekly teaspoon of happy and “check myself before I wreck myself” words of wisdom.
