Finally, My Dream Poscast

This podcast is so fabulous, looking at fashion news and history not from the giggly airheaded point of view common to fashion journalism, but with an intelligent, almost anthropological perspective. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

The Seams with Jacki Lyden

I was thrilled to be included in The Seams' Mother's Day podcast, but even if I hadn't been on it, I would have listened to it, The Seams is a great concept, and the brilliant Jacki Lyden is the perfect person to execute it. Her work is deeply layered, and while fashion can seem all surface, Lyden indulges in the fun and frivolity, while at the same time providing cultural history and human stories. She is the ultimate "seamstress."

Surprised how much I love this

I'm not someone who is particularly interested in fashion, but I LOVE this podcast. I'm a fan of Lyden's from NPR and she brings gravitas and journalistic integrity to the topic of fashion. With every episode I learn something new--who knew I would be interested in baseball uniforms!
