Description

Slums of Film History is an in-depth podcast on niche film topics that aren't normally discussed in polite company. We take turns weekly discussing a single topic from everything to bodily fluids to T&A to exploding heads. If there is a film subject too taboo we haven’t found it yet. Welcome.

Love it

Excellent new podcast. Slums of Film History is well produced with interesting and informed content right out of the box. I'll have another serving of the brains, please.

Can't believe I love this!

I'm honestly not that into movies, and certainly not trashy movies, but this podcast has me anxiously awaiting each Wednesday's new episode. I go to the gym for an hour just to listen, and definitely get some funny looks while I'm breathlessly laughing on the elliptical about blood, butts, and other generally inappropriate stuff. Seriously though, these guys make fascinating connections, illustrating how trashy movies are truely a sign of their times. Great new find, can't wait for more!

The More You Know!

I love this podcast! Who knew there was such an interesting back story to Snuff films and the NC-17 rating. It's made my commute to work more enjoyable and had has made for more more interesting conversations at the office.
