FINALLY Anthony Bourdain has some kind of podcast! Finally a travel podcast that doesn't just give recommendations on what historical chruch you should visit and what time of year you should visit for ideal hiking weather. Looking forward(hopefully) to India/Southeast Asia episodes!
People, food and different ways of life
These stories are amazing. Uneven love the ads. Don’t let the reviews about the one story with a woman who has a closed mind put you off. Travel the world in this podcast far off the tourist tracks. Learn about people. I can’t say how much I love this!!
The narrators finding other cultures’ customs “weird”, their food “gross”, etc. was a real bummer. For a podcast that is titled “the Trip”, you would think there would be more open mindedness for how others live and appreciation for diversity. I’m disappointed by the narrow perspective.
