Best. Running. Podcast.

And I've listened to them ALL. I run with Chris & Buddy (via podcast) once a week on my 5 mile training loop. Always humorous & informative, without trying too hard. Chris does an awesome job of balancing the podcast with his running escapades, a wide range of interviews & never taking himself too seriously. You know it's a good listen when you are looking forward to your run because you get to enjoy "Mad Dog" & "Wonder Dog." Subscribe.

Great listen for long runs

Chris has a natural dialog with his audience and provides great content. He travels the world, meets interesting people, and talks about things interesting to runners. He has a somewhat hyper or over-enthusiastic manner, but it is endearing. ChrisRunner (aka. Mad Dog) has a great synergy with the other members of the running podcast community and can often be heard contributing to the Extra Mile, baiting the Trilogy Running brothers, and referring to Pheddipedations. Worth a listen. Well I gonna get my run in today. Are you?

Smart, witty & good-looking

Well, it's a podcast, so I don't know about the good looking part... Chris likes to think of himself as the "everyman" midpack runner. Well, he's not. He's dedicated and "obsessed". I say that with love, Chris. Don't misunderstand. He's not an elite runner, but he's better than your average Joe. Chris' podcast is entertaining and informative. I always enjoy hearing the exploits of BtWD (Buddy, the Wonder Dog), Chris's hyper Border Collie. I like the Featured Interview, the Equipment Check, the Guest Host, the music at the end (always something new that I would never hear otherwise), and the variety of other things he puts into his podcast. I also like that he keeps it about 40-45 minutes, which is about the length of most of my runs. Overall, great stuff! Keep up the good work, Chris!
