Author Nikesh Shukla talks to writers, comedians, musicians, journalists and actors about writing, laughing, singing, commenting, acting. This is the anti-Q&A - a freewheeling, sometimes irreverent (don't you hate the word irreverent) conversation that covers everything from r'n'b to writing to books to zombies. Subaltern: persons socially, politically and geographically outside the hegemonic power structure.

Yo. I've been listening to your show while slope mowing blackberry bushes, scotch broom and waist high grass in an affluent community outside of Seattle. It has been a pleasure listening to these interviews. I like the clinking of glass in the background, the rambling digressions and the clunky transitions. I hope you continue. The hype-man like beginnings of each show is a nice touch. As a writer who rarely speaks with other writers, your conversations and their informality have been transportative (not a word). Thanks.

Keep going!

This podcast gives this yank a sense of the scene across the pond. Fantastic!
