"Jessica & Solange Take Down The Patriarchy" (aka, "I Loved This But On Second Thought It's Kinda B******t"), hosted by Jessica Cabot and Solange Castro, is a feminist deconstruction of movies/TV Shows/Books that the hosts once loved, but realize contain problematic and stereotypical representations of women. Jessica Cabot is the writer and creator of the Lisa Kudrow produced web series "S****y Boyfriends." Solange Castro, a standup comic and playwright, wrote the play, "Changes In The Mating Strategies of White People." They both hope to help improve the portrayal of women in media through this podcast.
