Description

The Mockingcast is a podcast inspired by the vision of Mockingbird Ministries. Mockingbird is a ministry that seeks to connect the Christian faith with the realities of everyday life in fresh and down-to-earth ways. Behind our entire project lies the conviction that none of us ever move beyond our need to hear the basic good news of God’s Grace. In particular, none of us ever fully escape the gravitational pull of personal control (and anxiety) when it comes to life and how we live it. Hence the name “Mockingbird,” which refers to the curious characteristic of the bird itself: to repeat the message it has heard, over and over again. You can find out more about Mockingbird at www.mbird.com.

Customer Reviews

the best there is

every week there's a fascinating new guest discussing theology or culture or curent events & the dialogue is incredibly lighthearted even when the topics could get heavy. I also love the roundtable conversations with Scott & Sarah & Dave, who always find new ways to appreciate/remind me of the gospel. the cast is funny & enlightening, and when the hour is up, i feel refreshed and encouraged.

My fave

This is one of my favorite podcasts. I love the intersection of culture and Christianity. I also love the hosts! Lots of humor, wit, and thoughtfulness.

Relaunch

The new relaunched version of the podcast is an easy listen without the color, depth, humor or pizazz of the old version, but as a mockingbird fan, overall it was enjoyable.
