A Cracker!

This has become a regular listen. While the host's style can be at times a bit stiff-don't be fooled. The Gaffer has it together, gets solid guests, and provides a nice snap shot of the week's EPL action. The Nicholson interview an absolute scream. Keep up the great job.

Great Weekly Dose of EPL

The Gaffer does a really nice job recapping weekly EPL action, spreading the gospel of the English Premier League to US fans, and getting terrific interviews. The epltalk podcast is not shrill or partisan (like the World Soccer Daily guys often can be). Early in the season I was trying to find out all I could about the new ITVN service - TV that you can tune in over the internet - and I came across EPL Talk. The Gaffer was working hard to provide all the information he could on the subject: getting interviews with big wigs at ITVN and Setanta, and dedicating a lot of his bandwidth to educating his audience (who were clearly hungry for more EPL matches). Another great service is the weekly email newsletter that lists the games to look forward to in the coming week, and which channels will be carrying them (FSN, Setanta, ESPN2, etc) - this saves me a good half hour of research each week, for sure. I understand he's expanding into blogs, live chats during matches, an online magazine, and the sky's the limit since the EPL audience in the US gets bigger all the time.

Excellent souce for football info

Very professional production for a podcast. The Gaffer has great interviews with many top football contacts. I would highly recommend this for the serious football fan or newbies. For those Americans who are looking for an introduction to the game, this is for you.
