A mix of table top roleplaying, and escape room puzzles. Each episode, our contestants find themselves locked in a room that exists solely in the mind of our Puzzlemaster. Using their wits, their imagination and with a lot of fun on the way, they will have to find a way out of their dire circumstances if they hope to stay alive.

Fun concept paired with crude language

Very fun concept and escapes. The crude language however is both unfortunate and unnecessary. The host and game master are very likable and well prepared so it's not clear why they feel they need an edge of this sort. The adult themes and language do not tie into the games, do not help the narrative and detract from what could otherwise be a great podcast. If you are an escape room enthusiast looking for a podcast that you can enjoy with your family this is not the one for you unfortunately.

Play along at home

I listened to the first episode of this podcast, and had so much fun that I went to check out their website. They provide the Puzzlemaster writeups so that you can play the scenarios for yourself at home. I played two of them with my friends and had a ton of fun with the refreshing and amusing stories. Looking forward to many more episodes of this show!

fun to play along

Somehow found this podcast only a few weeks after it started, and it has been really fun to listen to. My husband and I are hooked, and trade off playing and game-mastering the rooms for one another. "Alex's Bathroom" (episode 1) is a favorite, and we also really liked "The Importance of Being Escaping" (episode 9). Some puzzles can get a bit convoluted, but overall I'd say it's a cheap and easy way to get into escape rooms. Hoping to get together with my sister soon to run a room for her.
