The Best Sports Show

I watch Around the Horn every single day at 5 o'clock. Every day there are four sports columnists from around the country who give their views on the day's hot topics. These columnists include Jay Marrioti (the best columnist) from the Chicago Sun-Times, Woody Paige from Cold Pizza, Kevin Blackistone and Tim Cowlishaw from the Dallas Morning News, J.A. Adande and Bill Plasche from the Los Angeles Times, Jim Armstrong from the Denver Post, and Jackie MacMullan, Bob Ryan, and Michael Smith from the Boston Globe. The host of the show is Tony Reali, the Statboy of PTI. Reali gives the columnists points based on how good their arguments. Reali also keeps the colmnists in check using the Mute Button, which will mute a person and cause them to lose a point. There are five segments to the show. The first is The First Word, where the two biggest topics of the day are discussed. The next segment is Buy Or Sell, where columnists must agree or disagree with one side of a topic. After this round the person with the least points is eliminated. The third segment is Out Of Bounds, where columnists discus one topic in depth. After this round the person with the least amount of points is eliminated. The fourth segment is Showdown, where the remaining two columnists debate three topics. The person to take two out of three topics wins. The last segment is Face Time, where the winner of the day receives 20 to 30 seconds of uninterrupted time to talk about a topic of their choice. I am so glad the iTunes got my favorite show. Download it, you won't be dissapointed.

ESPN's best show

Around the horn. ESPN's best show now on podcast. Who doesn't like hearing Marrioti and Woody get in to it. Now it is on podcast.

FINALLY!

It was only a matter of time until "ATH" made to the podcast. I have been eagerly awaiting for this since "PTI" debuted a couple of months back. Owning a satellite dish is great; however it seems that most heavy rainstorms here in the Midwest are in the afternoon, thereby interrupting my 2 favorite shows. Thanks ESPN; I never miss an episode now. If you are a true sports fan, you already know the columnists, as they are the top ones around the country. Yes, Jay can be a pain in the rear at times, but he tells it like it is. Now if we could get Jay and Woody to guest host "PTI" - would that be awesome????
