Fabled is a bi-weekly podcast that explores mysteries, legends, myths, lore, ghosts, and fairy tales. Investigation of these tales of woe often reveal grim details that have been long hidden in the dark corners of history. Every story is a mix of both fact and fiction, and so are our episodes. We'll tell you a story, and then we'll tell you the truth. And to be perfectly honest, sometimes even our best fiction isn't as riveting as the facts.

Edgar Allan Poe's Secret Love
Having studied Mr. Poe's poetry, I am impressed by how this piece reflects the deep spiritual feelings his poems generate. Annable Lee has always been my favorite poem, and I tried to relay its genius in a work of my own a few years back. I still believe the real Annable Lee was his wife, but you give me cause to doubt. I really enjoyed this podcast, and look forward to many more. I was such a dedicated fan of "Belle Reve", and it is good to have Vanessa's talents showcaseded again in this form. PS: I love your books, as well. Keep up the good works...
How POEtic! 😜
I love that the first episode was about Poe! Great voice, concept, and story!
Found my new must-listen podcast
I love Vanessa K Eccles’ novels and short stories, but listening to her amazing tales in her lovely Southern accent takes things to a whole new level. I can’t WAIT for the next episodes.
If you enjoy myths, ghost stories, historical fiction, or learning behind-the-scenes type information, you’ll love this podcast.
