As believers, we should be living an abundant life. If we just go day by day only waiting to go to heaven, we will miss out on all the blessings and amazing things that God has for us to do here on earth. Jesus died to give us abundant life here on earth and eternal life on heaven. That we can live in dominion and power and advance His kingdom here on earth. The devil will love to steal, kill and destroy our destiny and have us just exist, not making any impact for Gods kingdom. When we become born again, we have to live for a purpose. Live for a reason, not just exist. Today, I’m going to go over some things that we should be doing to start really living and not just existing.

In Matthew 6, Jesus directs us to seek the kingdom and its righteousness first and then everything else that we need would be added to us. This is a very interesting scripture and a lot of sermons has been taken from this verse. Does this mean that we shouldn’t work towards any wants in our lives? Is it biblical to have desires for a bigger house, nicer car or frivolous things? Today I’m going to share with you how we are to practically live out this verse?

We have celebrated the resurrection of Jesus during Easter celebrations last week and now what?  We all know some people who call themselves Christians wont go to church again until Christmas or New Years. This is where the term CNE Christians come from.  People who call themselves Christians who only go to church on Christmas, New Years and Easter.  The only other time someone like this may attend church is during a wedding or funeral.  If this is you, you’re not fooling anyone with this type of Christianity. Especially God.  If you only go to church during these events, I’m going to share why this does not help your spiritual growth.

Most of the times during this time of year we hear about the story of Jesus death burial or resurrection. But I’ve never hear about the lengths that the Roman government went to keep Jesus’ body buried.  I feel this is important for everyone to know because it puts it into perspective that if God wants something to happen, its going to happen. Doesn’t matter how much effort it put in place to try and stop it.  So today I’m going to talk about all then things that were put in place to try to keep Jesus in the grave.  And in case you didn’t know… they didn’t work.
