Customer Reviews

Super useful and exciting

I have really been enjoying this podcast a lot! It is both incredibly inspiring and a little intimidating to hear from people who are so good at what they do. I especially appreciate the episodes that address a specific element on the farm (Weed management, employees, soil building, business development, ect.) from someone who has really excelled in that aspect of farming. They all have been great though!

Good on several levels

The guests really know their stuff. Although like all experts, they occasionally try to drift away into details, the host is an excellent interviewer, and keeps them on topic. Always interesting.

The Best Podcast...Period!

I spend a lot of hours in a set of hearing protective headphones, that I hook up to my iPod while working. That's a lot of time spent on audiobooks, music, etc...Hours, Days, Weeks at a time hoping to increase my intellect by listening while working. I recently finished the whole bible in about three weeks via audiobook.

Out of literally hundreds, this is "hands down" the BEST podcast that I've come across! I stumbled upon the interview with J.M. Fortier via an iTunes search. I was so impressed with the quality of the audio and information, that I subscribed, downloaded, and synced every episode to date. I truly hope this podcast survives and continues. The book suggestions alone, are worth the time spent listening.

The best part, is that Farmer to Farmer doesn't focus on one type of farmer; one method, one idea, one gender, one lifestyle, or one of anything. The guests are as eclectic as the subject matter covered. I haven't agreed with every guest, nor do I think every idea will work for my situation, but it is a wonderful opportunity to be given the chance to hear other perspectives and ideas. These are extremely high quality guests, providing invaluable information, and Chris is a master of the interview. He always draws out valuable information from every guest, and delivers multiple perspectives/ideas to ruminate on. Every non-conventional farmer should be listening to this podcast. There is a community of us out there, and Farmer to Farmer is attempting to connect us, and discuss the challenges that we all face!

This isn't some B.S. review. I'm a guy covered in dust, dirt, and sweat on a daily basis living in Virginia. To all the sponsors, iTunes, and anyone concerned with the QUALITY of this podcast....It is truly a blessing. Keep up the great work! Thank you to all the folks making Farmer to Farmer happen; including the guests!

Blessing and a Hefty Harvest To You All!
