These guys are a lot of fun.

I stumbled onto this podcast recently and now I've been trying to catch up with the back episodes. I enjoy some high-brow film criticism occasionally, but I'm also a big fan of this brand of everyman humorous irreverence. Try them out.

I enjoy the bickering of the two hosts as they review the week's new releases. While they have a lot of fun while recording the podcast, they also have great insight and analysis in their reviews.

Great Format - so so hosts

Per the request of the hosts I am writing a negative review (which is my honest opinion). I listen to the podcast regularly because there are so few film review podcasts on the net that have such a great format and structure. The part of the show that I really don't care for is the personality, or lack thereof, of the hosts. Kevin is adequate although his "jokes" often fall flat, unfortunately this is probably because Neil doesn't give him much to work with. Neil is regularly drowsy and yawning during the show and seldom if ever has a retort, comeback, or reply to Kevin's witticisms. More often than not Neil will reply to a line from Kevin by saying, "I have nothing to say about that." Have something to say about that! We come to these shows for not only information but also entertainment. Any loser with a microphone can espouse his opinions about movies, but that doesn't mean they should have a show. I would like this show a lot more if the byplay and interaction were as high as the production values.
