As a Poker Dealer for the last 9 years at the World Series of Poker, this podcast is just over the moon. It is such a delight to hear the thoughts and feelings of the people I have been watching play this fascinating game. Thinking about "Tournament" Poker, if 2000 players enter a tournament, 1999 of them are going to lose all of their chips by the end. Every one of them is going to walk away thinking, "If only..." How depressing! How do you handle that colossal amount of frustration? Yet, thousands come back, like Cubs fans, "Maybe next year?"Hearing the shared thoughts of a couple of poker pros, who are seemingly subsisting on their poker tournament winnings is a truly rare treat!
Very Entertaining
This is a very well done format for a podcast. I myself have never been one to listen to podcasts, but this one is very entertaining, especialy for poker players.
As real as it gets
Love the format and the two people who are featured. Dan quit partying! It's only 1.5 months every year, take it more seriously! ;) So refreshing to hear the reality behind the game we all love without glamourizing it. Please do it again next year!
