A commuting SLPs dream!
I started an hour and 20 minute commute each way to work as an SLP in very rural Arkansas. Listening to Michelle’s interviews have made the drive so much more tolerable. She provides humor and wit while also bringing extremely interesting and relevant topics for SLPs. I definitely recommend this podcast to any pediatric SLPs that I know!
Combatting the isolation of EI
Listening to this podcast feels like a combo of having a great brainstorming session with a coworker, learning from my favorite mentor, and also getting to vent about the frustrations and challenges of this field. As a therapist that spends the majority of my time in homes (in a state where EI is broke and there’s no system for teaming or collaboration), I often feel isolated. While this podcast can’t fix that, it sure does help to hear other ideas, be affirmed in the ideas I already have, and just know others are fighting the good fight to support our families and give the best care possible to our littles. Thanks!!!
I am in EI speech therapist who drives from home to home all day long. This podcast is an easy way to keep current on information in the field as part of my day!! Thank you!!! Also absolutely loved all the information in the breast-feeding podcast episode two!! 💙
