This week’s episode is an update from one of our previous guests, Pastor Joe Phelps of Highland Baptist Church in Louisville. Last fall, I reached out to him for a follow-up conversation, because I had heard he had retired from HBC, and I was curious about what he was doing.

Return Please!

I found this podcast at a much needed time of pulling back & reflecting in life! I have not found anything like it since & often check back to see if it has begun again. Will you be restarting the show? I encourage you to listen to every episode. Such a wonderful gift.

Five Things about Five Things

1. It’s locally produced by Tara Anderson and she invites local guests to discuss their lives and often they talk about how Louisville has influenced them. It makes you proud to be a part of this community.

2. The guests are from all backgrounds and professions...writers, musicians, sportscasters, transplants and natives. There’s someone for everyone.

3. You’re inspired to think about the objects you would choose, which quickly becomes an internal conversation of your values. What matters most? Who matters most? Are you living the way you want to live?

4. Sometimes it’s funny. Sometimes it’s wrenching. It’s always thoughtful and honest.

5. They’re about 30 minutes. You can listen to them in the car, on the treadmill, at lunch or while you make dinner.

Highly recommended!

Spot on!

This podcast is, for me, close to perfect. Tara is an exceptional, empathetic, and talented interviewer and her music mix is outstanding. I'd love to see her expand her circle to include people from across the nation.
