A Glorious Maelstrom of Bearded 70s Rock References (and Science)

Don and Ben walk the walk by making food safety fun and interesting. So many science, public health, and food safety podcasts fail to understand that the way to really educate people is to keep them engaged, and part of that is entertaining them. What's that thing that Mary Poppins said about helping the medicine go down? So, if you want someone to read off a bunch of instructions for how to check the temperature of your porkwich, look elsewhere. If you want two really smart guys to have a casual conversation about topics of the day in a way that might make you laugh and will have you googling pop culture references, this is for you. It's a keeper. Seriously.

Enjoyable and engaging academic food safety talk

An essential conversational podcast for those interested in the food system and food safety science and policy. The brief pop culture digressions allow for a nice amount of time to digest the heady food safety topics at hand, which are communicated clearly and effectively.

Current Food Safety Issues Straight From The Experts

Leveraging technology to reach the masses. This is a great experiment into the world of food safety communication that is a first of it's kind. Hopefully it will continue to grow and inspire more discussion into aspects of improving food safety and public health.

Bravo Don and Ben!
