Description

Do you enjoy listening to people talk about films? What about those films that may not show up at the local multiplex but are instead showing at the smaller specialty theater across town? Then "Footcandle Films" may be the show for you. Each month, the hosts discuss and review one "smaller" film in-depth, discuss upcoming film news, and give recommendations on films that you may not be aware of, ones that you haven't remembered in a while, or ones that are worth your time checking out. And all the while, the conversation never gets too "high-brow" or pretentious. Just two guys who enjoy talking about movies. Your Hosts: Alan Jackson and Chris Frye, founders of the Footcandle Film Society.

Customer Reviews

Thanks for narrowing it down!

I rarely get a night at the movies - and honestly - when I go I feel like I have just wasted a lot of money. This podcast gives great insight into a not-so-well-known film (my favorite type) and helps me make a decision so I don't waste those dollars! I have enjoyed the first two movies and look forward to seeing Tree of Life. Great recommendations as well!

Tree of Life

Great insight on this complicated movie. Three thumbs up... or should I say "tree" thumbs up :)

Great Stuff

Alan and Chris do a great job. I look forward to hearing their insightful reviews that not only appeal to movie lovers, but are also relevant to the man on the street. Plenty of analysis without coming across as movie snobs.
