This is not a climbing podcast. Well, sorta. This is a funny/sad/somewhat uncomfortable podcast about choosing vulnerability, talking about our pain, our most awkward moments, and how we are all really just shining examples of this messy human existence.

For the love of this podcast
Based on just the teaser Kathy is prepared to knock it out of the park. She’s poised to hit hard the everyclimber, focusing on issues beyond climbing’s common vernacular of technique, training, and terrain.
She is a beloved member of the climbing world at large, and a natural voice for this type of commentary. I for one can’t wait to watch her work grow into a giant dialog over donuts and crag coffee.
Kathy Karlo is a beacon of light in a world easily corrupted by cynicism. She’s that stoke from when you first started climbing, preserved like a lightning bug in a mason jar. Follow her if you want to be picked up when you’re down, and up when you’re siked.
All the feels
I’m sitting poolside, laying out in the sun, while tears roll down my cheeks. And this is just the intro! Sharing stories like this is so important.
I love the balance of wit and wisdom. Can’t wait for the next episode!
