Interesting, and until it's not

I dont like writing negative reviews but this week's podcast (27 November 2016) pushed me over the edge. I subscribed about 6 months ago and found it fairly entertaining, I would download the weekend reviews and the D&D gaming sessions, I would skip the non-D&D gaming sessions.

So why the negative review? The first thing that really got to me was how one host would usually dominate the other, speaking over him at times or generally having way more time of possession than the other. Other things that bugged were having a baby in background; I have children as well and you cant always keep them quiet, but then again, I am not attempting to sell a product. They need to be much more professional. Speaking of professional, what is with all the profanity when it is not called for? Also, when making a podcast, please do not eat chips or Cheetos or Funions right next to the microphone. I realize everyone is having a good time but please, professionalism. However, the straw that broke the camel's back was something I picked up on from almost the very beginning... the obsession with all things Avatar. This last episode went on for almost 20 minutes about Avatar, which, IMO, is not "nerdy" but rather childish and just plain dumb, again just my opinion.

You cant please everyone all the time, so if it works for you, go for it. It just isnt for me.

Armchair Admirals? More like Armchair Smellrals...

I like the podcast, but Chuck's constant slamming of Major Derlin is just unprofessional! Did you ever consider threat the Major is a war hero Chuck!? He had to make the guy wrenching decision to close the base doors while Luke and Han were still unaccounted for. That kind of decision takes some of the leadership that this podcast is NOT lacking because Andrew is great.
