This new audio podcast will take you behind the scenes at Fort Vancouver National Historic Site. Conversations with staff members, visitors, park partners and many of the site's 400 volunteers will take you on an intimate journey and help show why this urban national park - with its historic buildings, expansive recreational opportunities, reconstructed fort, dozens of interpretive programs and special events, and a collection of over 2 million artifacts - is relevant today.

Very good program

I listened to it last evening and found it a very good teaching tool. It really makes you want to visit the fort. I now have a much clearer idea of what is involved in the Historic Weapons Program. I think any volunteer who listens to it will increase their performance as an interpreter at the fort.

Well done

It's great to see the National Park Service getting involved with podcasting. I loved the interview on the firearms and the McLoughlin House show was also well done. Greg, the host and narrator has an easy-going, NPR style voice. The production quality is top notch. Keep up the great work.

great podcast

The podcast provides interesting facts about the site, it is well organized and easy to understand. What a new innovative way to learn history!
