Customer Reviews

Not a beginner podcast.

I first want to say what a well-developed podcast this is! I recently subscribed and in my spare time and have been listening to it. I am a french student who has just completed my 3rd year and I don't think that this podcast is for beginners. I would reccomend that begining french learners check out "Coffee break french". There, you will learn the basics. With "French for beginners", you learn some basic vocabulary but, at the same time, intermediate/advanced grammer, which could be very confusing. I wouldn't waste your time if you have no prior french experence. Although, if you do have prior french experience, I would highly reccomend this podcast as it will improve you listening skills greatly! Great podcast! Keep them coming!

Love this podcast - for advanced beginners though

I am currently working on the video vocabulary lessons. One thing I love about them is that they are conducted almost entirely in French. Since I am an advanced beginner, I can understand most of what the instructor says, but I think I might be a bit lost if I knew no French whatsoever. If I were a true beginner, I would take a few of the other podcast courses that are taught in English and French first or concurrently, and then come back to this for immersion. It is perfect for testing your French listening skills!

Only One Problem...

I DONT SPEAK FRENCH! They should do something else cuz i listened to it and i had a look on my face blanker a than a sheet of paper.
