Eclectic History Lessons
Each episode shines a light on some fascinating person (or animal!), historical event, cultural tradition, or...well, it could be anything really! I don't know if its because I am a product of the American education system, just personally ignorant, or if the subjects covered are fairly obscure, but aside from Lagertha the Viking, these stories are all new to me.
The host, Jacinta, does a great job boiling each topic down to an easily digestable half hour. There is a nice balance between education and humor.
