I should have known what I would be getting into after the obnoxious intro. I continued on however, and thought it might be interesting to listen to recaps by people who had not read the books. There was a ton of misinformation and mispronunciation, something I could understand with people who have not read the book. But not even referring to characters by their correct names (I'm not talking about mispronunciation, I'm talking about flat out calling Daenerys the wrong name) is something that could have been easily remedied by visiting imdb or the HBO viewer's guide, especially since one of the hosts claims to have read some (admittedly not all) of the first book.

Also, this isn't an X-Box Live game of Call of Duty, the male host does not have to hit on the female host because she's a hot nerd that reads. It doesn't come as charming, it comes off as creepy, especially when he whispers it.

Stay away from this show.

These kids are obnoxious and don't know their stuff.

Has potential...

First off for all you "fanboys" out there this is a podcast made by folks who are new to the world of Westeros. Yes they might get some facts wrong on occasion, mispronounce some names here and there, or even, heaven forbid, get a name wrong altogether! They do however bring a since of wonder and excitement that many of you surely had when you first stepped into Martin's world. Lets face it there's a lot going on here, and it takes time to understand it fully.
What I find really enjoyable about this podcast is the viewpoints from non-book readers, especially their predictions of future events in the show. Having read the books myself I must say I'm a little envious of their ignorance of what is to come.
I find the hosts, Sara and Bethany, both well spoken and entertaining. They also seem to be passionate about this series and that means a lot to me. Curtis, you just need to stop hitting on the ladies. Yes we know they're "hot", but try not to sound so desperate all the time. Atleast not on the air anyways...
