Building community 1 Dev at a time

I really enjoy this podcast and have been thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and quality of the interviews that Chris DeLeon conducts.

The developers interviewed so far span a wide range but all love game development and seem to have found success through their passion.

Highly recommended!

Variety of experiences, consistent, and relatable

This podcast is a great listen. It focuses on a wide variety of developers -- beginners, industry veterans, international, etc. It's so refreshing to hear from developers with diverse backgrounds. This podcast is updated every Monday consistently which is also nice. Everyone being interviewed is just down to earth in how they talk about what being a game developer is really like. Highly recommend this podcast to anyone!

If you need a kick in the pants to get started making games as a hobby, as an indie developer, or even for your professionial portfolio, Game Devs Like You is the perfect podcast. Every guest on the show comes from a completely different background, and each found their way into game development under various circumstances. As a result, their unique stories provide motivation for those unsure about getting started in development. Chris keeps the interviews moving right along with insightful questions and meaningful anecdotes, all the while maintaining focus on how each guest's experience can help listeners begin their own journies into game development.
