Rose City Nerds

Every week this long-running Portland, Oregon based podcast brings together a group of friends to discuss the wonderful world of geekdom. Recurring topics include: Comic Books, Star Trek, Gaming, Craft Beer, an d much much more. They also frequently include interesting guests from the greater geek community.

There are a lot of geek-focused pod casts out there, but I doubt few create as a warm and friendly atmosphere as this group that represents the best of Portland.

Adapting changing, still going strong

Having started listening to the Podcast during the Whale Stapler Saga and a change in some hosts as life marches on, this remains one ofthe most honest and entertaining podcasts availbe for your geek or nerd ears and beyond.
The banter is still that of friends or family sitting around shooting the breeze or discussing passionately over topics that interest or horrify them.
Give it a listen,you won't regret it.

My fondness for GitC can't be contained in a title!

I've happily listened as this fun, smart show has evolved over the years, and no matter the roster, the show has made me smile and made me think. Current geek-related news, revisits of worthwhile past media (I'm loving Beanerita's look at several eras of STAR TREK), encouraging us to be better people as well as better geeks: thank you for all you communicate.
