My favorite podcast for mental health
I've always been extremely fascinated with psychology and the world of mental health disease, these guys do a terrific job of making me laugh and giving insight on the many unanswered questions we all have about mental health. The hosts are well educated and give different perspectives than your average professionals. Plus, they're a bunch of cursing geeks! Doesn't get better than that.
This is a great show for geeks and non geeks alike. The cast has great chemistry and the information is always engaging. The tangents are, to me, good fun.
I have always been fascinated with psychology and understanding human nature, human behavior, the psyche, etc. I have also always been fascinated with all things Geek. From Star Wars and other science fiction, to fantasy, comics, you name it I love it. In my academic career I always sought to combine my passions of Geekdom with academics. This podcast is amazing as it does the same - combining psychology with Geekdom. Each week you get a fun, sweary, educational experience combining some of our favorite Geek themes with an attempt at better understanding the way we work. The crew is attentive to the detail needed to understand the scientific components without using too much jargon, making it easily accessible. I love this podcast and encourage you to listen if you have interest in Geekdom or Psychology.
