Comfortable, Funny, and Informative

Really enjoyed this podcast. The interviewer seems to have done his homework about the subject. This is more like an in-depth discussion you get to listen in on, then it is an interview. Can't wait to hear more form this.

eyeball part deux!

i def wanna hear more from eddie (or any other J member that you can interview). the interview teased with band drama and what led to certain band member fallouts, but little of that made it into the hour. it was cool to hear how eddie came to be in the band, but why did andy leave, then return? what happened to stevie? surely i'm the only one that doesn't know these answers - tell it all!

Super accessible and funny

Anyone who likes music and makes a point to go see it live around the city, will find this podcast super interesting (and funny). I've been going to Brooklyn Bowl since it opened and, of course, just happily and ignorantly assumed that everyone always thought this place was a fantastic idea (because it is). It was really cool to find out more about the history behind how it came to be and the risks a few people in the music industry are taking to bring us music lovers the great venues and bands that we enjoy (but don't always appreciate as much as we should). Jake's a super engaging host and Shapiro is obviously completely comfortable - it's more like sitting next to the two of them at a bar and evesdropping than it is listening to an interview.
