The (smart) Kardashians of Homesteading!
I could listen to these two chat away for hours. Oh, wait.... I DID!!!
This podcast truly satisfies all of my homesteading and voyeuristic needs. I get a real glimpse of what it's like to sit around and chat with Ken and Cari while also discovering all the reasons why I am not cut out for homesteading.
This couple are the masters of taking just a few acres and turning out a pastoral wonderland.
You MUST tune in!!!
(Psssst! Guys! When do the monkeys and camels arrive????)
The children takr over
Just finished listening to the latest 'ghost fawn' pod cast with the Donaldson children. It was a hoot. And it reminds one how wonderous and full of energy a childs view of life can be without the distractions of modern life. To a teen's love of cats, to another's wonderment at looking up to a star filled nightscape harkens back to a simlper time. Is this life for everyone? Obviously not. But the Donaldson family seems to have embraced this life style and are running with it. Good stuff that.
