I'm a fan!

Love this show. Moar episodes!

Still insightful.......

I have listened to every episode of this podcast. I find both the host to be smart and insightful on the topics. But I was currently listening to the gta episode. I realize that Emily has very strong convictions. I agree with a large amount of her views. I have to say I didn’t like that she brought stereotypes of gamers as baggage to this episode. You have to realize that yes the word bit** was said in the videos. But they are playing the rolls of low level criminals that speak like that. I think they were playing to that stereotype not video game guys. I am also surprised that she is willing to watch gossip girl that also has that word said in it and has a main character that is a rapist in real life. Who was doing this during his run on the show. As a fellow gamer, I find it troubling that we have a terrible label put on us. There are bad gamers. I will not dispute that. But there are bad people everywhere. In movies, music, tv, books, sports, etc. So before we come down harshly on people playing in character on a game making almost tv like episodes maybe let’s not watch real rapist or any tv/movie that says the word either. But all that being said she is a wonderful host with great points. I would recommend this podcast. Thank you for the content.
