Poetry can't solve all your problems, but it can help you feel better about them. To lead a full life requires more than specialization in productive work. Truly, even being great in a specialized field requires one important perspective that many engineers, business-operators, salespeople, marketers and all those in the "hard-sciences" lack—cross disciplinary thinking. It is wonderful if you can break apart and put back together a transistor, but equally wondrous is the workings of poetry and literature. In this podcast we will take poems of various complexities and "converse with the verse," in a way approachable to anyone from any background.

Great concept for a podcast!
I listened to this and thought it was a terrific concept: to inspire great living through the celebration and study of literature! Perfect for listening while on a short drive in my car. Thanks for sharing.
What’s so great about great literature?
Great literature is both inspiring and practical. Kirk does a great job, not only in reading the week's passage, but in explaining what it's about and how it relates to your life. I’m glad I stumbled across this!
Love the voice!
It's a great concept: Highlighting how literature can improve out lives, not just a entertainment. AND, Kirk's got a great voice, so that's bonus. 5-stars, no doubt.
