Always a big fan of theis podcast

And that's why I was surprised listening to this weeks edition during which the Hawks financial situation was discussed and I believe it was Eric who claimed that Huet, Hossa and Campbell had very little to do with the Hawks Cup run. Granted Huet wasn't impactful. Hossa's goal total was low but even casual observers of game saw how great of a two way player he is and how relentless he played. When did this game become all about points? As for Campbell if he was from Sweden making an average salary, people would be raving about how well he skates the puck out trouble and how responsible he is. When I listen to a Hockey podcast from Canada I typically believe I am hearing the most well informed and passionate coverage in the world. This episode was a rare head scratcher.

Fantastic NHL Podcast

Some of the most insightful analyses and anecdotes out there. In an era of braindead ballcap talk radio, innumerable rambling blogs, a CBC Hotstove chasing its own political tail to the point of sopor, and editorial columns rife with typos and cliches, Darren's humble and poignant roundtable is a unique pleasure. I download them each week, catching up on what's wrong, right, great and trite with the NHL. ...Here I am in Hong Kong airport, catching up on a few I missed. Good Canadian stuff, with some of the best columnists we have.
