Turn down the music!

Good podcast, but I'm docking it a star for their insistence on playing the intro music so loud it hurts. Guys, I love you, but I love my hearing more. Please dial it down!

what a great production

Want a complete true blood play by play? How about with a pair of attractive english accents? Well by gum, this is the podcast for you! Wonderful job in annotating all of the scenes in each episode and in providing some neat commentary on how the books and the television begin to show more and more differences. From episode music to character analysis this great podcast has it all! Keep it up you two, I'm enjoying it.

Fantasic True Blood podcast

This has quickly turned into my favorite True Blood podcast. The two have a great interaction while discussing the episodes. I love that Paul has not read the books (neither have I), so he asks the same kind of questions I do regarding what is and isn't in the books. It's the only TB podcast out there with someone who hasn't read them all. I also appreciate that Natalie doesn't give away a bunch of spoilers from ahead in the book. Anyone who listens to TB podcasts has to be prepared for some book spoilers because they are inevitable, but there are fewer on this one.

The recaps can at first seem a bit overdone (after all, we've all seen the episode), but it really works because they discuss the scenes like the fans we all are. The WTF moment is fun -- there are usually so many to choose from! And they are much more organized than other podcasts. They have a plan, so they avoid the endless rambling that can sink other podcasts.

Good stuff. Glad they decided to start this season.
