Description

Take a deep breath, get comfortable (in your car, probably) and bury yourself in Going Mental, a podcast all about…well, going mental. Both hosts navigate life while managing their sometimes debilitating mental health conditions: Neal's a screen and television writer, while Morgan is a Hollywood drop-out and current BuzzFeed editor. These long-time friends will be talking about living (and functioning) with an array of mental health challenges, from depression & anxiety, to ocd, bipolar, and panic disorders, while finding ways to maintain their mental health in today’s world. The show leans on their personal experiences, with a little pop culture thrown in, because they’re not doctors, like not even close. At least we're all in it together, right? RIGHT?

Help Full

Ok, let’s face it, I’m prejudiced. I’m a Dusedau, and have always been a fan of Neal’s. This Podcast that Neal and Morgan put together is joyful at the same time that it’s helpful. They’ve been good friends for years, and their humor and good vibe make it easier to hear about their very real individual journeys through the maze of mental health issues. They are still struggling through these issues on a daily basis. Neal and Morgan help us accept and understand the humanity behind the struggles. For those of us struggling, it’s a relief to hear others talk about what is often still not cool to discuss. The Podcast is a window into today’s world of mental health issues, coping strategies, and ways to reach out for help. Give it a listen. I look forward to next week’s Podcast, and the week after that, and the week after that...

Extremely good

Morgan and Neal are really smart and really with it. This is really well done- candid, funny, real. Highly recommend.

Comforted to hear I’m not alone

I love hearing that I’m not alone, even when it comes to things like not being able to follow through because my anxiety and desire for perfection. This feels like a comforting conversation with friends. No alarmism, no judgement.
