Thoughtful and fun!
Emily and Madeline leave no stone unturned when it comes to Pittsburgh food and lifestyle. They give thoughtful reviews and balance critique with positivity and light heartedness. In a superficial food world where “Frankenfood” has taken over a lot of media coverage (p.s. learned the term “frankenfood” from this podcast) to have people sharing their experiences on a platform like podcasting is refreshingly genuine and raw. Whether you are new to the area or a bonafide yinzer, you’ll get great tips and insights about where to eat and what to do in Pittsburgh.
In true Pittsburgher fashion, this podcast celebrates the pride in our blooming food scene with the down-to-earth, welcoming nature of our 'burgh neighbors. No stone left unturned, Emily and Madeline hop from neighborhood to neighboorhood, through the suburbs, and (even road trip!) all of the delicacies in Western PA. Dissecting not only the culinary offerings, topics encompass everything we love (and hate!!) about eating around here- the chefs, eatery atmosphere, service, style, and overall vibe. Nodding to the old and new, posh and lowbrow, there is nowhere these ladies won't go to get to the heart of our local food culture. These gals give you the friendlist dish on our city's best dishes.
Fun and informative
I love this podcast! It’s like having a chat with two cool girls who are as obsessed with Pittsburgh restaurants as I am (possibly even more)! I have learned about so many cool new places and events around the city. Secretly wish I were friends with these ladies so we could go out to cool restaurants and talk about Pittsburgh food scene secrets.
