Joy

There’s a lot of joy here. The performers are having fun; the audience has fun; the whole enterprise just radiates warmth. Shakespeare is too infrequently consumed because audiences are afraid that they will have to “put the work in.” But this podcast changes that calculus: we did the work for you. Put this on, drive to work or lie on the couch and just enjoy the beats, delivered expertly by a cast and crew that clearly love their enterprise.

extremely well done

this expertly crafted piece transcends the idea of what a podcast is and blurs the lines between radio drama and the theater of the mind. its put together with the very deliberate hand of someone who clearly not only loves shakespeare but also loves entertaining and expressing themselves. its beautifully engineered and done with an exacting ear.

and also for newbies to shakespeare it doesn't cast you aside to fend for yourself but rather pushes you through like you are on a funhouse car on a carnival dark ride free to enjoy the sights and sounds.

can't wait for the next part!

bravo!

Great talents, great story, great production

This is a great first episode in the retelling of the Henries - the voice actors are all on-point, and the sense of space in scenes really help put the listener right there in the tavern with Hal and company. I can’t wait to hear what happens next!
