They are my friends that I have never met

I found this podcast randomly on Reddit, and it is named after the philosophy that I practice with my toddler. Actually, just like Steph and Abbey I am more involved and not totally hands-off! When I listen I feel like they are in my living room venting just as I do with my other parent-friends over wine.

Prediction: their kids will turn out just fine- more than fine! Steph will have another baby (boy?). At the ripe age of 85 after the men have died S&A will run away together in Hawaii.

Relevant, punchy and full of laughs

As a very loyal fan to Hands Off Parents, I've listened to every single episode (43 of them now!). Quick, punchy and full of topics I'm constantly faced with as the parent of a toddler. I always appreciate the laughs, Abby and Steph's genuine and hands-off approach to parenting, and the feeling that I'm not the only one dealing with these crazy issues. They cover eating habits, sleeping habits, whiny kids, living in a world of constant setbacks and they talk through the best ways to handle it! This is literally the ONLY podcast I listen to and I look forward to it every week. Give it a try, it's so worth your time.

A realistic perspective on parenting

Thank you ladies for this podcast! Not only is it humorous (because I can relate to the opinions), but it's actually inspiring as well. It's a reminder that I can do other things while also paying attention to my kid (and not having to always wait until nap time). For those with kids (especially toddlers) who are not celebrities (who I feel have nannies at the drop of a hat to take care of their kids), your kids are your background noise. Such is the case with this podcast, and I find it nice that their kids are also there.
