A weekly podcast that serves up thoughtful and fun debate about the big stories of the week. The show is usually taped on Tuesdays for posting that evening, with occasional spontaneous bonus episodes. The use of the "Harvard" name originates from the show being an offshoot of the Harvard Conservatives Lunch Club, an extended group of friends and colleagues who get together for occasional lunches, which Mike began in the Spring of 2011 in Cambridge. Mike was a Harvard physicist at the time (he's since departed for MIT). Todd was a member of the lunch club only because he is such a scintillating conversationalist - he has never had any affiliation with Harvard.

Morons high fiving
This podcast is sold as a thoughtful debate. Instead you have two guys patting each other on the back while they jump to unfounded conclusions. On the other hand I was impressed how their lack of intellectual integrity so closely resembles stupidity even though they aren't actually stupid .
Intellect and logic employed here

Interesting, and looks like they are finding their stride
The Podcasts of July 21st and July 14th are very promising, particularly the one on the 21st. The folks lean right, but 1) were honest about the foibles share across the political spectrum and 2) brought to light many unheard thoughtful arguments from the non-government side of political thought. Early on they had a tendency to speak to red meat conservatives, but they seem to be moving to a more thoughtful discussion. Hopefully this is a trend and not an anomally. They are both capable people and I would like to see them realize all of the potential they bring.
