Demons

Mike McAllister is a gifted writer who has a talent for metaphor and simile. This podcast's first episode is a somewhat clinical start to what, in subsequent episodes, becomes a harrowing delve into humanity's penchant for self-destruction.

While the Andrew Cunanan episodes are an interesting retelling of the story of a mass murderer, episode three catapults us into the aftermath of crime and the ways in which it has severely impacted McAllister's own life and psyche.

I am eagerly awaiting episode four. McAllister's voice is one that deserves to be heard and is worth listening to. Give it a try. What's the worst that could happen?

Podcasting at Its Best

I have long enjoyed reading Mike’s blog (Dogpoet) for his gifted way of telling deeply personal stories – both light and dark. He now adds the power of speech to further showcase his abilities. This is podcasting at its best, literate, not highly produced but with just enough studio work to punch up the telling of these true crime stories. Each episode has many layers and my desire for repeated listening may be the highest praise I can offer. I encourage others to do the same.

Highly Recommended
