This is Hear Me Out, the podcast where Winston Noel and Alden Ford, along with a special guest each episode, explore the songs we love, no matter what literally everyone else says. We are not music officials. We are not music critics or music snobs. We are unqualified on every level to provide any cogent analysis of why a song is good or bad. All we know is, there are songs we just can’t stop loving, even though the world passed its harsh judgment on them long ago. So every episode we sit down with one choice for each of us, along with our guest, and discuss the sublime highs and humiliating lows of these gentle pariahs of pop music. Join us, won’t you? And we know what you might be thinking about some of our choices. But just hear us out. We might win you over. Or not. Some of these songs are genuinely terrible. New episodes every Wednesday!

Too much fun!
Everyone likes at least one tune that's so bad, you'd be embarrassed for anyone to find out you like it. And, it's not only a surprise that this happens to everyone, but often it's the same song!
Winston and Alden find some really terrible and terribly charming tunes and tear into them. It's a very funny podcast!
Just Like Sitting Around with Your Friends
Listening to Alden, Winston, and the weekly special guest sit around and love on (and rip on) guilty pleasure music is about as comfortable as podcast-listening gets. It's really just like hanging out with your friends and taking turns listening to corny/sappy/embarrassing songs... but imagine that your friends are all professional comedians. If you enjoy talking about music, laughing about dumb lyrics, or low-stress commute-friendly podcasts, definitely check this out!
a discussion of guilty song pleasures
heard about this podcast thru the Matt & Brett Love Comics podcast. listened to all the episodes and loved them. there are a lot of songs featured here that i cannot stand but then there are others that i love. meatloaf? more please. phil collins? love him. as i got older i realized i no longer have to defend my tastes so blasting billy joel or phil collins in the car isnt a problem anymore. rocking out to pat benetar or ace of bass doesnt bother me either.
