In keeping with Gimlet's highest production quality and substantive content, Heavyweight has the added bonus of disarming, charming, hypnotic Jonathan Goldstein. This podcast is now my favorite from Gimlet (though I listen to and enjoy each one). Insightful, funny and at times touching, it's the best of Goldstein and Gimlet.
Well written, a delight
Jonathan Goldstein is one of the best writers for audio that I know; this show, with a great team behind it, brings all that greatness to the fore. Here's hoping his circle of neurotic friends widens out as the season progresses.
Long awaited and worth it
Jonathan is my favorite This American Life contributor. I've tried to find a way to listen to his other shows in but have found them difficult to find downloads. I was thrilled when this came out. I love each of them so far. Thanks, Jonathan.
